Airedale Enterprise Services joins the national celebration of enterprise by hosting a drop-in event in the Airedale Shopping Centre in Keighley, in Queensway South (opposite the Marks & Spencer side entrance). The event will take place on Tuesday 18 November 2008 from 9.30am to 4.30pm. The aim of holding the event is to raise awareness of Enterprise Week 2008 encouraging the people of Keighley and surrounding areas to be ambitious with their ideas and help them connect with like minded people. Creating an environment that allows enterprising behaviour to flourish. Phil Harrison Business Counsellor for AES said “It is important we encourage people to believe in themselves and strive to make their ideas happen”. Airedale Enterprise Services experienced business advisers will provide free informal on-the-spot advice on business start-up and development. Attending the event will be a number of new start small businesses, including traders from “The Store” Cavendish Street who have received support from Bradford Kickstart. The traders will be given the opportunity to show case their wares and to discuss their experience of trading for the fist time. In addition, two of AES’s recent clients will be attending the event: David Horrix of Wow Lifestyle Limited will be showcasing his gift wares and Jo Haynes of Relax & Revive Therapies will be demonstrating hand massage. For more information on the event, or if you are unable to join us on the day and would like to meet with one of our advisers in the future, please call Jo-Anne Stinson at AES on 01535 607775 or email reception@airedaleenterprise.org.uk
